Tonkon Torp partners Sherrill Corbett, Michael Fletcher, Parna Mehrbani, Steven Wilker, and Zach Wright have each been named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year in their respective specialties by The Best Lawyers in America® peer-review survey. Only one lawyer per specialty in a community is honored as Lawyer of the Year.

Sherrill Corbett was named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Securities/Capital Markets Law. Corbett is immediate past Co-Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Business Transitions Practice Group. She counsels clients on buying and selling businesses, structuring complex joint ventures, bank financings, and private placements.
Michael Fletcher was named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Bankruptcy & Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency & Reorganization Law. His practice emphasizes general corporate counseling, debtor-creditor matters, and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience representing private and public companies, shareholders, receivers, borrowers, lenders, debtors, and creditors.
Parna Mehrbani was named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Trademark Law. Mehrbani is Co-Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Intellectual Property and Information Privacy & Security groups. Her practice is focused on intellectual property, trademark registration and enforcement, and advising and litigating trademark portfolios for local, national, and international companies at all stages of growth. She is a member of the firm’s Managing Board.
Steven Wilker was named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Litigation – First Amendment. He is Co-Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Information Privacy & Security Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Managing Board. He counsels clients in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, media communications and technology, information security, energy, corporate governance, real estate, and finance issues.
Zach Wright was named 2027 Portland Lawyer of the Year for Litigation – Environmental. His practice is focused on complex business and securities litigation. He also has expertise in environmental and regulatory litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and the protection of rights in intellectual property.
