Tonkon Torp partner Danny Newman was a panelist at the 37th Annual NW Bankruptcy Institute, held in Bellevue, Washington. The event was co-sponsored by the Oregon State Bar Debtor-Creditor Section and the Washington State Bar Association Creditor Debtor Rights Section.
Danny, who was also a member of the Institute’s Planning Committee, joined Seattle attorney Jennifer Faubion and the Honorable Whitman Holt from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Washington, for a discussion on recent 9th Circuit bankruptcy case law.
Danny Newman is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department, where he focuses his work in bankruptcy and reorganization and serves as Co-Chair of the Government Solutions Practice Group. He has worked on the largest chapter 11 cases in the Pacific Northwest, and represented debtors and creditors of all kinds in state court litigation and out-of-court workouts.
