Clay Creps Joins Parrot Creek Child & Family Services Board of Directors

Portland, Ore. — Tonkon Torp partner Clay Creps has joined the board of directors for Parrot Creek Child & Family Services. For over 50 years, Parrott Creek has worked to support some of the area’s most vulnerable community members: low-income children and families involved in juvenile justice, child welfare, substance misuse and behavioral health systems in Clackamas County, SE Portland, East Multnomah County, and across the Portland Metro region.

“I feel honored to support Parrot Creek’s vital work providing person-centered and culturally responsive programs and services,” said Creps. “Their efforts to address the social, economic and health factors that cause trauma to individuals and communities is crucial.”

Parrot Creek’s programs range from early interventions for children and teenagers to community-based services, outpatient treatment, recovery homes, and intensive residential care. Since 1968, they have served more than 30,000 youth and families and currently serve approximately 1,000 families per year in Oregon. Tonkon Torp has been a long-time supporter of Parrot Creek with former Managing Partner Kurt Ruttum most recently serving on the organization’s board.

Clay Creps has provided labor and employment law counsel and litigation services to employers for over 30 years. He has extensive experience litigating employment-related claims in federal and state courts, particularly representing employers in Americans with Disabilities Act litigation. Clay is recognized as an Oregon leader in employment law by Super Lawyers, a designation reserved for the top five percent of lawyers in Oregon based on peer recognition and professional achievement. He is also recognized by Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America for his work in labor and employment law.
