Christopher Pallanch Talks Legal Ethics and AI for Audience of UO Law Alumni

Tonkon Torp litigator Christopher Pallanch discussed “Collaboration and Competence in the Age of Co-Intelligence” at a meeting of the University of Oregon Law School Alumni Association. For the continuing legal education presentation, Pallanch and UO Law Professor Rebekah Hanley provided an overview of how generative AI is being used in the legal workplace, discussed challenges and opportunities with AI, and offered ethical solutions on how to best use the emerging technology.

Pallanch is a member of Tonkon Torp’s Managing Board and head of the firm’s Antitrust Advice & Advocacy Practice Group. As a trial lawyer, he helps businesses enforce and protect their trade secrets, prosecute and defend claims of unfair competition, resolve business and partnership disputes, and respond to regulatory investigations. Pallanch is a graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law.
