Caroline Harris Crowne Receives City Club Research Award

Tonkon Torp litigator Caroline Harris Crowne received City Club of Portland’s Research Award for 2015-16 at the organization’s annual meeting.

Caroline recently completed a three-year term on the City Club Research Board, which oversees and contributes to the Club’s numerous comprehensive and ballot measure study committees. During her term, Caroline served as an adviser to a currently-in-progress ballot measure study committee, and to two completed studies on the minimum wage for Portland and Oregon’s juvenile sex offender registry. Prior to her term on the Research Board, Caroline chaired a study committee for a report on reducing excessive partisanship in Oregon’s political system.

Caroline’s practice focuses on commercial contracts, business owner disputes, and forensic accounting issues. She represents clients in federal and state courts, before judges, juries, and arbitrators.

City Club of Portland brings together civic-minded people to make Portland and Oregon better places to live, work, and play.
