Bob Carey Serves as Guest Instructor for HR Management Class at U of O

Tonkon Torp attorney Bob Carey was recently a guest instructor for a Human Resources Management class on employment law at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business.

As students led a presentation about the history of Title VII and its resulting laws and cases, Bob added commentary from real-life case examples. His insight added a practitioner’s perspective to help the students clarify and elaborate on Title VII issues. Bob also conducted a Q&A with the students that touched upon a variety of employment law topics.

Bob is a member of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing companies on a broad range of employment-related issues and litigation, labor negotiations and arbitrations, and various matters before the NLRB. Bob is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
