Blerina Kotori Leads Breakfast Briefing on Avoiding Common HR Traps

Blerina Kotori led a breakfast briefing and Q&A session at the Tonkon Torp office with Anne Donovan, president of Xenium HR. The presentation to Portland employers covered the legal implications of three common HR traps, and provided practical guidelines on how to avoid them.

The topics of the briefing were employment practices liability insurance, streamlining record-keeping practices, and tips and guidelines for documenting discipline, termination, and other employment actions.

Blerina is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment and Information Privacy & Security practice groups. She represents employers in matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, leave laws, and employment benefits. She also defends companies in wage and hour class actions and other complex litigation.
