The organization is an honor society that maintains a worldwide membership of less than 750 trial lawyers deemed by their peers and judges to be ‘outstanding in the field of advocacy.’ One of the principal goals of the Society is the preservation of the adversary system and jury trial. Membership is by invitation only, and nominees are considered for their ability, experience, accomplishments, and ethical standards.
Anna and Ryan are pleased to join senior litigator Dan Skerritt as Fellows in the Society. Retired Tonkon Torp attorney Rick Martson is also a Fellow and past president, and the late Don Marmaduke, a Tonkon Torp founding partner, was a Fellow in the Society as well.
Both Anna and Ryan count Martson as an impactful mentor in their careers, so their concurrent membership in the Society is especially meaningful. Anna and Ryan are proud to carry on the tradition of excellence in advocacy at Tonkon Torp established by Marmaduke, Martson, Skerritt, and others and are eager to participate in a Society dedicated to preserving and nourishing our trial system.
