Drew Hagedorn Joins OBA Panel for an Executive Development Program Session

Tonkon Torp partner Drew Hagedorn was a featured panelist during the July 14 session of the Executive Development Program, hosted by the Oregon Bankers Association. The discussion on legislation and politics was moderated by OBA’s VP and Government Affairs Director Kevin Christiansen, and President & CEO Linda Navarro. Drew was joined on the panel by Oregon lobbyist Amanda Dalton, and Oregon Association of Nurseries CEO Jeff Stone. The panelists discussed the role of politics in local and national policy-making, and how politics has impacted the competitive landscape of the financial services industry. They also looked at the results of legislation on the banking industry over the years, and how legislation developed with direct banker involvement has positively impacted the banking industry.

Drew is Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Government Relations Practice Group. He is a long-time public affairs professional offering comprehensive government affairs services for clients at the state, local, and regulatory levels.
