On April 20, Elizabeth Goodman, Jeanette Schuster, and Janet Neuman (pictured right) volunteered during the 30th annual statewide SOLVE IT for Earth Day cleanup initiative.
They worked alongside Chris Breemer of Cascadia Associates to clean up trash and debris at a site near OMSI. The activity was organized by the firm’s Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group.
Their cleanup site was one of 171 projects undertaken across Oregon by over 5,500 volunteers who removed 49,000 pounds of trash and 231 tires, and replaced invasive non-native plants from four acres with 1,100 new native trees and shrubs.
All three women belong to the firm’s Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group. Jeanette is Chair of the group, Janet is a natural resources attorney, and Elizabeth Goodman is the group’s paralegal.
