The MBF promotes civic education to increase community understanding of the legal system. Among the programs it supports is the Multnomah CourtCare program, which provides a safe and caring space in the courthouse for children while parents and guardians attend to legal matters. This year the MBF will also focus on developing new programs centered on the opening of the new Multnomah County Central Courthouse.
