Jeff Bradford Accepted into Leadership Portland

Tonkon Torp litigation attorney Jeff Bradford was accepted into the 2019 class of Leadership Portland, an annual program offered by the Portland Business Alliance (PBA) to cultivate and develop community leaders. Each year, PBA selects rising business leaders, based on written applications and interviews, from a variety of industries in the Portland community. Recent past participants from the firm include Haley Morrison, Jessica Morgan, and Chris Pallanch.

During the course of the nine-month program, 38 participants meet once a month for a full-day session to learn about and discuss a broad range of critical issues that affect the Portland region. They gain a deeper understanding of how business, government, and community sectors work together to achieve common goals in areas as diverse as arts and culture, local government, public service, and healthcare, among others.

Each participant also works on an "Impact Project" on behalf of a nonprofit. Jeff’s group is working with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Columbia Northwest. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one mentoring experiences to build friendships and to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. Jeff's group is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters to develop strategies to cultivate participation and engagement for mentor "matches" following their graduation from the program.
