Tonkon Torp is proud to announce the launch of its annual fundraising efforts in support of the Oregon Lawyers Against Hunger (OLAH) campaign. The OLAH campaign, launched in 1997, supports the work of the Oregon Food Bank.
Tonkon Torp has participated in the OLAH campaign since its early days. In 2017, Tonkon Torp's fundraising efforts garnered a firm-wide participation rate of 73.8%, raising $20,504 in support of the OLAH campaign — through contributions by staff and attorneys as well a direct donation of $3,000 by the firm. The total money raised enabled the Oregon Food Bank to provide over 60,000 meals to the hungry of our community.
As part of this year's fundraising efforts, Tonkon Torp is once again instituting an intra-office competition between the three floors of our space. The participants in the floor that raises the most money will have the opportunity to have the firm pay for a half-day of volunteering at a local food bank.
