On June 19, Tonkon Torp immigration attorney Alan Perkins spoke at a seminar focusing on various aspects of global mobility for businesses including international tax, immigration, and tax reform. The event was co-presented by Tonkon Torp LLP at the University Club of Portland along with KBF CPAs LLP and DLA Piper.
During his segment, Alan provided an update on key business immigration issues including travel, temporary visas, permanent residence, and worksite enforcement. He focused specifically on challenges that have arisen under the Trump Administration.
Perkins is Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Business Immigration Practice Group. His practice focuses on assisting companies with the hiring and retention of foreign national employees and advising clients on continuing employment issues involving foreign nationals in the United States.
