From June 18 through 20, Tonkon Torp hosted the annual regional meeting of nonprofit law firms providing legal services for unaccompanied minors detained by ICE. Oregon’s nonprofit firm is Immigration Counseling Services. All the firms at the meeting are funded through the National Vera Institute of Justice’s Unaccompanied Minors Program. The Vera Institute fights for justice reform built on bedrock American values and grounded in action at the state and local level.
