Sarah Einowski Receives Outstanding Mentor Award from Lewis & Clark Law
Tonkon Torp attorney Sarah Einowski was honored with an Outstanding Mentor award from Lewis & Clark Law School. At the April 14 presentation ceremony, Sarah received her award from her 1L mentee, and Sarah Petersen, Assistant Dean for Career & Professional Development. Four mentors from the program were selected to receive the awards.
A U of O grad herself, Sarah values mentoring and shepherding new lawyers into their chosen profession. In the mentor program, Sarah met monthly with her 1L student, and checked in throughout the school year to answer questions. She provided guidance that progressed from getting her student into the rhythm of studying and working with case books, to networking and finding the important first summer job.
Sarah is a member of Tonkon Torp’s Estate Planning Practice Group. After working as a litigation attorney on trust and fiduciary disputes for several years, she is now applying her business law background to helping clients with wills, trusts, and succession planning.
