Blerina Kotori was a co-presenter at an April 25 continuing legal education seminar on implicit bias and workplace harassment. The seminar was presented by the OSB Civil Rights Section and co-sponsored by Oregon Women Lawyers, the OSB Diversity & Inclusion Department, and the Oregon chapter of the American Constitution Society. The CLE session focused on implicit bias in the workplace and the way bias informs our decisions in the employment context. The presenters also discussed the legal principles governing sexual harassment and the shift in the court’s consideration of implicit bias as evidence of discrimination.
