Portland Attorney Parna Mehrbani Adds to Tonkon Torp IP Expertise
Parna Mehrbani has joined Tonkon Torp as a partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. She comes to the firm from Lane Powell, where she was a shareholder serving in several leadership positions, including as a member of their managing board.
Mehrbani is well-recognized for her expertise in trademark registration and enforcement, and advises local, national, and international companies at all stages of growth on protecting their trademark portfolios. She has been recognized in the World Trademark Review 1000 as a leading trademark professional since 2013. She helps clients develop and protect new brands and lines of business across many industries, including apparel, footwear, consumer products, food and beverage, cannabis, and education services.

Mehrbani is active in the local, national, and international legal and trademark communities. She is Chair of The Oregon Bench and Bar Commission on Professionalism and a member of both the U.S. District Court of Oregon Local Rules Committee and the Partners in Diversity Leadership Council. Her practice has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, and Super Lawyers.
Mehrbani holds a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School cum laude and summa cum honori in thesi, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
