Gwen Griffith Discusses Tax Reform for Thought Leader Forum

Tonkon Torp attorney Gwen Griffith was featured in the latest “Thought Leader Forum” supplement published by the Portland Business Journal. The Thought Leader Forum covered the topic of tax reform and included a profile of Gwen as well as an interview with her and other thought leaders.

The new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act delivered dozens of new rules for businesses, fewer opportunities for individuals to claim deductions, and significant tax rate reductions, to name just a few provisions. To help break down how the new Tax Act will affect businesses and individuals, the Portland Business Journal assembled expert Thought Leaders with years of experience and knowledge about the tax industry. Joining Gwen at the table were Linette Dobbins, president and chief compliance officer of McGee Wealth Management, and David DiLorenzo, partner at DiLorenzo & Company.

Gwen is a partner at Tonkon Torp, where she chairs the firm's Tax Practice Group. Her tax practice includes advice to individuals, businesses, nonprofit entities, and local governments on federal and state tax issues. She is experienced in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation matters, as well as the income tax and transfer tax issues of trusts and estates.
