Business Attorney Adam Adkin Joins Tonkon Torp

Adam Adkin has joined Tonkon Torp LLP as an associate in its Business Department. His practice is focused on working with business owners on the full breadth of business transactions, with an emphasis on purchase and sale transactions.

Adkin comes to Tonkon Torp from Karnopp Petersen in Bend, Oregon, where he practiced for four years. He also spent two years at the Oregon Court of Appeals working as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rex Armstrong and the Honorable James Egan.

“Adam is a fantastic addition to our Business Department,” said Darcy Norville, Managing Partner. “He is a well-rounded lawyer who brings excellent experience to the firm. We are looking forward to helping him grow his business law practice at Tonkon Torp where he will be working on transactions at every stage of the business life-cycle – from formation to ownership transfers, and every step in between.”

Adkin received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Tulane University in 2007, and his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2011. He was Executive Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review. During law school, he worked as a judicial extern for the Oregon Tax Court and as a law clerk for the Community Development Law Center.
