Pallanch Provides Social Media and GPS Evidence Strategies

Tonkon Torp attorney Christopher Pallanch spoke at the recent annual convention of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel. His session focused on how defense attorneys can use social media accounts and GPS information for better case outcomes.

Christopher and his co-presenter used real-world examples of social media content and GPS data used as evidence in cases to provide attendees with strategies for how and when to preserve and collect data from different social media and geopositioning platforms. They also provided strategies for authenticating and formatting the evidence for use in a trial, and the steps to take to get the evidence admitted.

Christopher is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation and Financial Services practice groups, where he focuses on resolving complex business disputes. He represents individuals and companies in adversarial proceedings on matters that include financing arrangements, contractual agreements, and business torts.
