On April 10, Tonkon Torp business attorney Jeff Cronn presented on contract drafting principles to students at Lewis & Clark Law School.
Jeff framed the discussion about the importance of effective contract drafting by sharing anecdotes about the consequences of poorly drafted agreements. Drawing upon his extensive drafting experience, Jeff walked the students through the process of planning and drafting clear and concise agreements. He also touched on the contract negotiation process and discussed common contract terms.
Jeff has chaired Tonkon Torp’s Business Department for 10 years. In his transactional and corporate practice, he counsels public, private, and nonprofit entities regarding mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities and financings, disputes with shareholders, and other general corporate matters.
