Enforcing Arbitration Awards in Oregon

Caroline Harris Crowne and Stephanie Grant had a "Practice Note" article, "Enforcing Arbitration Awards in Oregon," published by Practical Law. The Practice Note, available to download below, explains how to enforce arbitral awards in Oregon, including procedural considerations and the grounds on which a party may challenge enforcement under federal and Oregon law. The Note addresses the Federal Arbitration Act, the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, the Inter-American Convention on International Commercial Arbitration, the Oregon Uniform Arbitration Act, and the Oregon International Commercial Arbitration and Conciliation Act. The Note also explains briefly the procedure for vacating, modifying, or correcting an arbitral award.
