On February 8, Tonkon Torp partner Tom Palmer emceed a program presented jointly by the Portland Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors and Financial Executives International. The program featured a panel on effective relations between boards of directors and chief financial officers.
Palmer chairs the firm’s Corporate Finance practice group and is also a member of the financial services practice group. His practice emphasizes securities and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and private placements.
Palmer is a member of NACD and is a frequent speaker at the organization’s events. The NACD provides information and insights to help corporate board members confidently navigate business challenges and enhance long-term shareowner value.
