Tonkon Torp attorneys Eric Beach and David Forman recently participated in a panel discussion at the Portland State University Business Accelerator. They spoke to an audience of entrepreneurs representing various industries on legal issues facing startups.
David is a member of the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services, Corporate Finance, and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups. He advises emerging, small, and mid-market private companies with respect to their general corporate, financing, and transactional matters and helps founders, managers, and investors recognize and achieve their strategic goals through growth-oriented legal strategies.
As a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group, Eric focuses his practice on advising clients on the value and business impacts of intellectual property, creating and negotiating technology and software licenses, and protecting clients’ trademark, patent, copyright, and trade secret rights contractually and through litigation in both federal and state court.
