Michael Millender Reviews Incentive Compensation at January Tonkon Talk

At the January 4 Tonkon Talk, attorney Michael Millender spoke to startup companies about incentive compensation plans. He covered stock option and phantom stock plans, restricted stock awards, and factors a company should consider in choosing an incentive structure. Michael also provided tips on how startups can avoid common mistakes in the design and operation of incentive compensation plans.

 

Michael is co-chair of Tonkon Torp’s Business Department. He practices in the areas of tax, employee benefits, and general corporate law.

“Tonkon Talks in the Pearl” is a series of lunch-hour presentations hosted by the firm’s Entrepreneurial Services Group.
