Frank Weiss Speaks to U of O Students about Litigation

Tonkon Torp litigation attorney Frank Weiss spoke to University of Oregon graduate students in the “Legal and Ethical Issues in Sports and Outdoor Product Management” class about the good, the bad, and the ugly of litigation.

During his November 30 presentation to the class, which is part of the school’s Sport’s Product Management program, Frank shared why litigation is sometimes necessary, and reviewed the general costs and benefits of litigation. He shared insight into the discovery and testifying process, and also explored alternatives to trials including mediation and arbitration.

Frank is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department, where his practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage, and product liability.
