On October 20, Tonkon Torp attorney Bob Carey spoke to members of the Multnomah Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section about recent changes to sick leave laws. During his presentation, Bob highlighted best practices for implementing the new sick leave rules for workplaces throughout the state, and advised on potential pitfalls.
Bob is chair of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment practice group. His practice focuses on representing companies on a broad range of employment-related issues and litigation, labor negotiations and arbitrations, and various matters before the NLRB.
