Tonkon Torp contributed $1,000 in support of the 13th Annual CourtCare Campaign which ran through May 20. Volunteers of America Oregon operates CourtCare in the downtown and East Multnomah County Courthouses, providing free childcare services for children age six weeks through ten years old while their parents conduct court business. About 40 percent of the parents using the program are women seeking domestic violence restraining orders. CourtCare serves 80 to 100 children and their families every month, and has served over 14,000 children and their families since opening its doors in December 2001. Jeff Bradford led Tonkon Torp’s internal fundraising effort for CourtCare and raised individual donations in excess of $2,635 this year.
