On October 1, Tonkon Torp sponsored Metropolitan Family Service’s (MFS) annual “A Gathering of Good” dinner and fundraiser. Tonkon’s participation with the event was led by Steven Wilker, chair of the MFS board of directors and executive committee. This year’s gathering broke all MFS fundraising records, raising over $300,000 to support MFS programs that benefit more than 30,000 children, families, and older adults each year. MFS works to help people move beyond the limitations of poverty, inequity, and social isolation.
