Tonkon Torp was a sponsor at the February 20 Lewis & Clark Law School Public Interest Law Project (PILP) Auction. Alex Tinker led Tonkon’s involvement with the auction. Alex is an alum of Lewis & Clark Law School, as well as a 2015 Stipend Board Member of PILP. The PILP Auction raises funds to support Lewis & Clark’s Summer Stipend Program and Loan Repayment Assistance Program. Since its inception, the organization has helped 260 students finance legal public interest work at no cost to their employers – a total of more than 100,000 hours of legal work by PILP stipend recipients.
