Jeanette Schuster has been named to the board of directors of Women in Environment (WiE), a Pacific Northwest organization focused on supporting environmental professionals in the region.
Schuster is a partner in Tonkon Torp’s Environmental & Natural Resources Practice Group. She provides advice and practical solutions on environmental compliance and enforcement matters and on commercial and real estate transactions for clients in diverse industries large and small. A 2002 graduate, magna cum laude, of Lewis & Clark Law School, Schuster joined Tonkon Torp in 2008 after three years at another firm. She has authored papers and articles on environmental law matters and was named to the 2014 Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business for environmental law.
WiE was started in 2009 in Portland, and expanded to Seattle the following year. Its mission is to further professional development and opportunities for women in the environmental field. WiE hosts events and education programs as well as provides opportunities for networking and mentoring.
