Griffith Speaks to Oregon Tax Practitioners about “Undoing” and “Unwinding” in Federal Tax Law

Tonkon Torp tax attorney, Gwendolyn Griffith, spoke at the October 31st IRS/Practitioners Forum held at the Oregon Convention Center. Griffith’s presentation explored the options for tax practitioners when clients’ tax actions do not match what the clients intended. She titled her talk, “Oops! My Client Didn’t Mean to Do THAT–What Now?”

 

Griffith chairs Tonkon Torp’s Taxation Practice Group. Her practice includes matters related to partnership and corporate taxation as well as estate planning. She is a frequent speaker on tax and wealth transition topics.

Hosted by the Oregon Society of CPAs, the IRS/Practitioners Forum drew over 200 attendees.
