Tonkon Torp made a donation to the Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Foundation. The donation, organized by Owen Blank, was a direct response to the $1 billion cancer research initiative fundraising challenge made by Phil and Penny Knight. If the OHSU can raise at least $500 million for the cancer initiative within two years, the Knights will donate a matching $500 million.
