U.S. News “Best Law Firms” Ranks Tonkon Torp Nationally in Five Practice Areas
Although located in a mid-sized market for legal services, Tonkon Torp is consistently ranked among the country’s best law firms in a number of practice areas. According to the newly-released U.S. News & World Report Best Lawyers2013-2014 edition of the “Best Law Firms,” Tonkon Torp earns national ranking for five practice areas.
The 86-lawyer firm was named among the nation’s best for Corporate Law, Commercial Litigation, Litigation – Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy), Securities/Capital Markets Law and Tax Law.
In the metropolitan Portland market, the firm’s excellence was acknowledged in 39 practice areas.
Best Law Firms rankings are based on thousands of peer reviews, client assessments and other data. According to U.S. News, high ranking is based on a combination of excellence and breadth of expertise.
