Tonkon Torp Welcomes New Associates

Two new associates joined Tonkon Torp LLP this month, bringing the firm’s roster of attorneys to 86.  

 

Rachel Kiyoko Atchison, a 2013 graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School, is an associate in the firm’s Business Department. She served as a summer associate at Tonkon Torp for two consecutive years while a law student. At Lewis & Clark, she earned a Dean’s Scholarship and the Oregon State Bar Securities Section Scholarship, and was voted outstanding associate editor of the Environmental Law Review. She was active in the Asian/Pacific American Student Union and the Business Law Society. An accomplished musician, Rachel co-managed a Portland music store prior to attending law school. She has performed more than 400 concerts throughout the United States.

 

Jeff Bradford has joined the firm’s Litigation Department. A 2013 graduate of University of Michigan Law School, he served as a summer associate at Tonkon Torp in 2012 and was a student law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland in the summer of 2011. As an extern at the University of Michigan Health System Legal Office, he prepared liability analyses of potential implications of federal regulations. Jeff held leadership positions in several student organizations while in law school, and was a contributing editor to the Journal of Law Reform. He is an active member of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, an organization of lawyers and law school students throughout the world who are committed to public service.
