In her July 11 “Risk Business ” article for the Daily Journal of Commerce, Ava Schoen advises bankruptcy creditors on how to best manage their role in the bankruptcy process. Bankruptcy proceedings are an orderly process by which debtors and their creditors can resolve a challenging financial relationship. Creditors should understand their rights and obligations, stay informed, and possibly get involved actively in order to optimize their position.
