Tonkon Torp labor and employment attorney, Corbett Gordon, addressed the Portland State University chapter of the Human Resource Management Association at its May 16 meeting. Gordon discussed the importance of employer handbooks and policies, as well as best practices in conducting investigations of employment claims and issues.

She has more than three decades of experience representing private and public sector employers. She has tried cases before juries in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and successfully prevailed in client appeals in state and federal courts as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court.
