Attorneys from Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment Practice Group presented their annual employment law seminar on May 16 for about 100 human resource professionals from client firms and other businesses in the Portland area.
“This annual event presents an excellent opportunity for our clients and other HR professionals to be updated on changes in employment law and related litigation, so that they can more effectively manage their human resource programs and maintain compliance,” said Bob Carey, chair of the practice group. Eleven Tonkon Torp lawyers made presentations at this year’s seminar.
Bob’s topics at the seminar included “Pre-Employment Background Investigations,” and “The Reasonable Accommodation Process under the ADA.”
