Tonkon Torp was a “Justice Sponsor” at the March 2 Oregon Liberty Dinner, hosted by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Foundation. The ACLU of Oregon is a non-partisan organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of civil liberties and civil rights. Steven Wilker, an ACLU of Oregon executive committee member, organized Tonkon’s sponsorship of and attendance at the dinner. The ACLU Foundation raised a record $112,000 at the dinner, which will be used to support legal and education programs.
