Tonkon Torp Lawyers Present CLE on Structuring Joint Ventures

Tonkon Torp attorneys Justin Denton and Steven Olson recently presented a continuing legal education seminar on how to structure strategic joint ventures from the perspective of a business attorney and a litigator. Their presentation covered issues that arise when a joint venture is formed, as well as ongoing legal rights and obligations between the joint venture parties. The program was sponsored by the Business Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.

Denton practices business and corporate law with an emphasis on forming and reorganizing business entities, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate and financing transactions. He has significant experience working with limited liability companies, joint ventures and closely-held corporations.

Olson, a commercial litigator, co-chairs Tonkon Torp’s 35-attorney Litigation Department. With substantial litigation experience in federal and state courts across the country, his practice is focused on complex business litigation, including contract and shareholder disputes, business torts, real estate transactions and environmental matters.
