Blerina Kotori will participate on a panel discussion at the Oregon Law Institute’s 25th annual continuing legal education seminar on ethics, at the Oregon Convention Center on November 2.
The panel discussion, titled “Zealous or Excessive – Can a Lawyer’s Good Intentions Go Too Far?” will cover high-tech subjects such as “virtual” lawyering, metadata, inadvertent disclosure, and using E-mail to communicate with represented parties.
Kotori is a member of Tonkon Torp’s Labor & Employment and Information Privacy & Security practice groups. She represents employers in matters including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour and employment benefits. She also defends companies in wage and hour class actions and other complex litigation. Kotori is a frequent speaker on employment matters, including HIPAA and benefits, as well as on electronic discovery and privacy issues. She joined Tonkon Torp in 2007 following her graduation from Lewis & Clark Law School.
