Tonkon Torp Attorneys Present at Greater Portland Compliance Association Meeting

Tonkon Torp attorneys Tatiana Perry, Ari Okano Lee and Blerina Kotori are presenting speakers at a July 26 meeting of the Greater Portland Compliance Association (GPCA). They will discuss the latest compliance issues regarding use of social media.

Perry, Lee and Kotori are members of Tonkon Torp’s newly formed Information Privacy & Security practice group, which helps businesses understand and comply with emerging laws and industry standards regulating the collection, use, sharing, protection and proper disposal of personal data. Technical innovations that allow personal information to be collected and processed online have increased the need for businesses of all types to carefully manage and secure large amounts of customer and employee data.

Founded in 2009, the GPCA is a professional membership organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the securities compliance industry in the Greater Portland, Oregon area.
