Tonkon Torp corporate attorney Thomas P. Palmer participated last week on a panel discussing Key Issues in 2012 for Public and Private Company Directors. Topics included legislative and SEC initiatives that affect businesses, the Dodd-Frank roll-out, and recent judicial decisions and enforcement activity against directors and officers. The May 17 event was presented by the National Association of Corporate Directors, Northwest chapter.
Palmer chairs Tonkon Torp’s Corporate Finance Practice Group. In addition to his work in securities, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and other equity and debt financing, he provides counsel related to issues of corporate governance, SEC reporting and disclosure matters, and represents special committees of directors.
