Tonkon Torp Attorney Explains Role of Forensic Expert in Litigation to PSU Accounting Students

Tonkon Torp litigator Caroline Harris Crowne was a guest lecturer at a Portland State University School of Business Administration accounting class this week.  On the topic of forensic accounting, she explained the process of litigation and trial, discussed the role of the forensic accountant as an expert witness, and shared examples of testimony by a forensic accountant in a recent arbitration.

 

A member of Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department, Harris Crowne’s practice focuses on business owner disputes and cases involving accounting issues.   She was named a “Rising Star” in Super Lawyers 2009-2011 and the Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year for 2010 by the Portland Daily Journal of Commerce.
