Tonkon Torp Litigator Appointed to Multnomah Bar’s Professionalism Committee

Tonkon Torp litigator Frank J. Weiss has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Multnomah Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee.

Weiss’ practice emphasizes complex commercial litigation, insurance coverage and sports marketing. He represents regional and national entities involved in disputes in Oregon and across the country. His experience includes trial work in federal and state courts, private arbitration and mediation. Weiss is the Chair of Tonkon Torp’s Ethical Issues Committee and is a former member of the Oregon State Bar’s legal ethics committee.

The goal of the MBA Professionalism Committee is to foster professional conduct in the legal profession and to increase members’ formal commitment to providing pro bono legal representation for those who are in need. The committee administers professionalism training and mentoring programs.
