Initial Coin Offerings- Entrepreneurs vs. the SEC
Join us for a presentation on Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) and the blockchain technology that makes them happen. Business attorney Tyler Harkness will lead the discussion with special guest Scott Bigelow, a backend developer and solidity coder with Augur, a startup company seeking to apply blockchain technology to the prediction market. Augur launched its ICO on the Ethereum blockchain in 2015. Scott will talk about blockchain technology and how ICOs work, while Tyler will review whether ICOs can be done legally in the United States, and if so, how.
Bring your questions and your appetite for an interactive and nourishing midday break. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP here to help us with the headcount!
