Prior to joining Tonkon, Sarah worked directly with Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, assisting her with reviewing, analyzing, modifying, and approving ballot titles (among her other duties and responsibilities as Attorney General). After working in the Attorney General’s office, Sarah moved to the Appellate Division of the Oregon Department of Justice, which houses the review, analysis, and defense of ballot titles prior to the Attorney General’s approval. Sarah applies her knowledge and expertise in the Oregon ballot title arena for clients of Tonkon Torp’s Government Solutions group.

In December 2015, Tonkon Torp closed a swift and successful arbitration to enforce payment owed to its clients, family members who founded and grew a successful business in the Northwest. In 2012, the clients had worked with Tonkon Torp to sell the company to a large, billion-dollar national entity.
