U.S. News "Best Law Firms" Ranks Tonkon Torp Nationally in Five Practice Areas

Tonkon Torp has long had a reputation for high caliber work as a business and complex commercial litigation firm. Today U.S. News & World Report-Best Lawyers released its 2011-2012 edition of the "Best Law Firms" publication and ranked Tonkon Torp nationally in five practice areas.

The firm's Immigration Practice earned a Tier 1 national ranking. Led by Turid Owren, the practice group works with some of the region's largest manufacturing, healthcare and technology organizations to help them successfully hire and retain foreign workers for U.S. assignments. The group also helps companies develop efficient organizational systems that facilitate the immigration process.

Tonkon Torp earned a Tier 2 national ranking for its Land Use and Zoning Law practice and Tier 3 rankings for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights, Securities/Capital Markets Law and Tax Law.
