Tonkon Torp’s Colin Love-Geiger Joins Kids Community Learning Center Board

Tonkon Torp labor and employment attorney Colin Love-Geiger has been elected to the board of directors of the Kids Community Learning Center, a nonprofit before and after school care organization in Northwest Portland.  
Love-Geiger’s practice focuses on defending employers in lawsuits filed by current or former employees. He also assists employers in a variety of other human resource matters. In addition to his new board position with the Kids Community Learning Center, Love-Geiger has previously served on the board of the Federal Bar Association, Oregon Chapter, and volunteered in Portland as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), helping abused or neglected children who are going through the court and foster care system.
The Kids Community Learning Center has provided enrichment activities in a safe environment for children from kindergarten through 8th grade for more than 25 years. Programs include private and group music lessons, summer day camp, and clubs and classes during the school year for children interested in sports, arts and crafts, science, and martial arts, among other activities.
